Acne: The Right Food To Eat

Acne , oh acne, the world wishes you didn't exist, but, unfortunately, you do. In my last post, I talked to you about my top three, trusted products for getting rid of acne, and today I will tell you about the food I eat/drinks I have, to make sure it doesn't come back, or leave any marks.

Now, my number one, and most trusted food/drink is of course, water. Now, as it is you should consume about 1.5 liters of water a day minimum, but when it comes to acne, you should drink at least 2 liters a day to make sure no marks of acne are left on your skin. Water helps our skin as it keeps your skin hydrated and will help in flushing out acne-causing chemicals. Water is a life saver anyways, but when it comes to acne, it is my most trusted food/drink item.

Now my number two, food item has to be berries. Weather it is strawberries, or raspberries, they will help get rid of your acne. Berries are a great source of anti-oxidants and skin-healing phytochemicals such as beta-carotene, thus they help in removing acne, but they also taste incredible! Personally, I could live on raspberries as it is, but the fact they help take those giant spots of my face, makes them even better!!

My last food/drink item, that I recommend for you has to be milk. If you're anything like me, you hate having plain milk, but trust me it helps in clearing out acne so well. It basically s a great source of both vitamin A and vitamin D, both of which are good for healthy skin, and women should be having it a lot as it gives us calcium. Milk isn't one of my favorite things, but once you see what it can do for your skin, you will be having it much more often when the pimple or spot turns up on your face.
