MAC Eye Shadow x 9: Burgundy Times Nine Review
Makeup is such an important thing to so many girls and women to there, and thats why I feel it is necessary to talk about it so much. I wanted this blog tone about so many things, but I am mainly focusing on makeup for two simple reasons, the first being you guys like it more and I have a lot to say about makeup, because it is such an important part of our lives, as it allows us to build up our identities and be more confident with ourselves. So today, I will be doing another review, but this time I will be focused only on one item, instead of three, and that is the MAC Eyeshadow x 9: Burgundy Times 9 Palette.
As you can see above this is a very beautiful eyeshadow palette which comes in different variations of burgundy, and pinks. What I love most about this palette is that it has both mattes and shimmery eyeshadows, which allows you get different looks and many of them from just one palette!
MAC has many versions of the Eyeshadow x9 palettes, which are 'She's A Model', 'Runway Worthy', 'Flamingo Park', 'Tinashe', 'Pastle', 'Purple', 'Navy', 'Amber' and 'Dusky Rose'. When I was seeing all of them on the MAC website, I loved the burgundy one the most because I feel these colours are wearable for an event or for your day to day makeup, but the main reason I chose this was because I just couldn't get my eyes of the colours on this palette!
The palette comes in 9 colours being: Honey Lust, Poppy Seed, Quarry, Antiqued, Embark, #Noir, Haux, Star Violet and Sketch.
I really love this palette not only because of its beautiful colours, but also because it is long-lasting and it looks really pretty on you wherever you go!
It was priced $40, but is currently $32 on the MAC Cosmetics website, so be sure to go check it out!

Some Of My New Makeup...
Hi guys, I know I haven't posted in a bit, but I am today!! Today I will be walking you through some of my new make up products yay!!!
Okay so lets begin!
*Soz for the lame intro, I don't feel like writing much today*
So this is my first new product by Icing and it is theThe Bohemian Beauty Eyeshadow and Face Palette. This palette includes four eyeshadow trios from colours like earthy brown, to sea blue, and it is just gorgeous! It also has a dark bronzer, a pink bronze highlighter and a golden highlighter and it comes with two brushes! I really like that this palette has a large variety of makeup in it, because with this palette, you can just take it our, and apply you eyeshadow, bronzer and highlighter, instead of having to take out all those products, which would probably be singles. This is a very good makeup palette, and I would recommend it to you, and it also comes is a reasonable price which is $14.50!
My next new product is the Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Eye Shadow Duo. This is an eye shadow duo coming in a plum-ish colour and a light pink/grey colour, and it comes with a brush. I really do like these colours together as they blend really nicely and they are the perfect colours for a night out or any occasion! This product is quite pricy, as it comes for $28.50, but I think it is worth the money!
My last product is also from Icing, and it is the Expert Long Lasting Lipstick in a hot pink shade! I tried this product and it looks so pretty, and I'm the person who doesn't like colours like these! It looks really pretty when it is on, and if you have a light complexion, it will suit you! This product is long lasting and it has been given great reviews, even though the price it comes in, was quite cheap, as it was only $6.50, but currently on the Icing website, it is for $5. This also comes in other three shades which are Wine, Pink Shimmer, and Birthday Suit. For its price it is worth it and you should buy it!

What I use: Body Sprays & Perfumes
Everyone has some type of product, which they have to use, to make themselves smell amazing, whether it is a perfume, a deodorant, a body spray or a cologne (just to name a few), and today I'll be talking you through what I use!

So my first perfume, has to be a Bath and Body Work's one. Like everyone has at least 3 perfumes from Bath and Body Work's! Now many people walk into this store not knowing what to buy, and pick out one which might just look good, but not smell good. That has happened to me in the past, though I learnt from my mistakes and now I actually smell the fragrance. Okay enough talk about that and now onto one of my favorite perfumes (which I happen to put on everyday to school)... It does have a great fragrance, though it can be quite expensive, but considering that it has 250ml in it, makes it worth it, but if you're like me and you don't wanna spend $20 on this fragrance, just go when 'The Big Sale' happens and the prices are great! I got this for $5.45! If you're like me, you would like to get the whole set of each fragrance in Bath and Body Work's, and that includes the perfume, a bath gel and a cream! This is a very good product, and I would recommend it to everyone!

And I also have to include a Victoria's Secret perfume, and I have chosen Endless Love! This is an amazing perfume, like most VS perfumes, but I really like this one because it smells really good and the packaging is really pretty! I'm not quite sure of it's actual price though I got it for about $10. I think every girl needs a VS perfume, and this may be one everyone should have, because it smells good, it looks good, and it's not that expensive! Oh and if you like an apple blossom type of smell, like the last one, this is the right fragrance for you!

And the last one of my favorite's list has to be Victoria's Secret Pink Total Flirt! I just recently purchased it, and I got it for a very good bargain as it was VS's sale! The actual price of this body spray is $10 but I got it for $4 and currently on the Victoria's Secret website, it is going for the same price! It is a very refreshing body spray with a hint of of apple blossom and freesia, and it is a only 50ml, thus making it very easy to put into your bag, when you need some of it!
Well, there you have it guys, these are 3 of the fragrances I use, and as you can tell I really like an apple blossom scent! Trust me even if you're not a big fan of this scent, you will become one, well because these smell so good (and the packaging always makes you wanna have it more!). My Top Drugstore Makeup Picks
So recently, my makeup collection has increased tremendously and that is for one reason only, I am a teenage girl. Well if you asked me a year ago about makeup, I would have only been able to name a few makeup items like lipstick or eye shadow, and I didn't even know what mascara was, leaving aside the fact that I didn't know what contouring and lip liner was! But now, I am aware of all these things, and well I love them, so today I will be going through all my favorite drugstore picks!
So firstly, I need to talk about mascara. Where would we be without this beautiful product? So the mascara I am currently using is the Volum' Express The Colossal by Maybelline. Now I would just lie to point out that everyone, and I mean everyone has this mascara, and well if you don't, go buy it! It is only $7.77 and trust me it is worth your money! It literally is so useful as it gives you no clumps, and colossal volume in just one coat! As a person who hasn't been into makeup for long, I wouldn't know all the different types of mascara, and which brands have the best ones, but for a person who is new to makeup, this mascara is the right one for you.
Now the next product I will be talking you through about is my Maybelline Master Ink Eyeliner! Now, like I mentioned before, I am a new to makeup, so I don't own too many products, so I just wanna talk to you through how and why I chose this eyeliner, and how it has been super helpful for so many things! Now I am not sure how much it costs but I remember it being not that expensive. So when I went into my local drugstore, I found this eyeliner, and it seemed to bee really good, as it was very easy to apply on, and it dried quite fast! Now this liner has saved me for quite a few things like when I need eyeliner for an emergency so I just pop it our of my bag because it is so small! Okay, now I feel like I've written too much so, I'll talk you through my next product.
I do have to include something for your lips, so I'll tell you a bit about Max Factor's Lipfinity Colour Lipstick / Lip Gloss in the color '205'. This is actually a liquid lipstick, which comes with a lip gloss, if any of you were confused by the picture below, and I think this is also not in the pricey range as it is in the affordable price range.
I just recently got this but so far, I am happy with its results, and if you do buy this product, I would recommend getting a lip liner of the same color with it. I have one from Max Factor called Colour Elixir Lip Liner. So if you do buy this product, buy it with the lip liner. And now for the lip gloss... The lip gloss is good, and it does have a shiny touch to it, as it makes your lips feel nice and moist. I would recommend using the lip gloss right after using the lip stick, as it makes your lips feel dry, so use it on right after. Oh and I just want to mention, that the lip gloss isn't much like a lip gloss, as it is more like a chap stick, with no color.

Acne: The Right Food To Eat
Acne , oh acne, the world wishes you didn't exist, but, unfortunately, you do. In my last post, I talked to you about my top three, trusted products for getting rid of acne, and today I will tell you about the food I eat/drinks I have, to make sure it doesn't come back, or leave any marks.
Now, my number one, and most trusted food/drink is of course, water. Now, as it is you should consume about 1.5 liters of water a day minimum, but when it comes to acne, you should drink at least 2 liters a day to make sure no marks of acne are left on your skin. Water helps our skin as it keeps your skin hydrated and will help in flushing out acne-causing chemicals. Water is a life saver anyways, but when it comes to acne, it is my most trusted food/drink item.
Now my number two, food item has to be berries. Weather it is strawberries, or raspberries, they will help get rid of your acne. Berries are a great source of anti-oxidants and skin-healing phytochemicals such as beta-carotene, thus they help in removing acne, but they also taste incredible! Personally, I could live on raspberries as it is, but the fact they help take those giant spots of my face, makes them even better!!
My last food/drink item, that I recommend for you has to be milk. If you're anything like me, you hate having plain milk, but trust me it helps in clearing out acne so well. It basically s a great source of both vitamin A and vitamin D, both of which are good for healthy skin, and women should be having it a lot as it gives us calcium. Milk isn't one of my favorite things, but once you see what it can do for your skin, you will be having it much more often when the pimple or spot turns up on your face.

Acne: What Products I Use
As a teenage girl, I have to deal with acne, and well, it's a bitch. There's nothing nice about it, all it does is ruin your skin and it doesn't make you feel good about yourself, so today, I thought I would tell you about how I deal with my acne, and what I use to get rid of it.
So.... My number 1 product for getting rid of my acne is The Body Shop's Tea Tree Mattifying Lotion. Now this product is very useful and it is also for a reasonable price, and that is €13 (and currently is on sale in the US!). This lotion is very effective as it does clear up your acne in 1-3 days and you also know it is working as when you put it on, you feel a burning feeling for a few seconds on the area of your acne. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't burn you or anything like that, it just a tiny feeling you get when you apply it.
This lotion is a life saver and I would recommend it to all of you.
My next product is Clean and Clear's Foaming Face Wash. I use this product not only for my acne, but also when my face is feeling dry. I quickly apply it all over my face (it does feel sticky) and keep it on for about a minute or two and then wash it off. The results I get from this face was is also very effective as it takes only about a day, maybe two for my face to clear up and it is just great! That's not the only good thing about this product, as it is very, very cheap and it comes for €1.32!! That is a steal honestly. I know people will think that it is not that effective as it is so cheap, but trust me, as a user of this product, I assure you, you will be happy with its results!
The last product I will be talking to you about is Clinique's Acne Solutions Oil-Control Cleansing Mask. This product is a face mask which you apply on and it heals blemishes, prevent breakouts, and keep skin shine-free. This is the most expensive product out of all three coming at a price of €20.24 but it is very effective. Clinique does have a lot of products for acne, but from personal experience, this is the best one. If you would like to try more of Clinique's acne clearing products, I would recommend Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion and Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam. This product has also helped me a lot and I hope it helps you too!
